This is the story of what started off as a normal day in Disney World for McKenna but ended as the "Most Magical" day ever!
To begin this story, Evan is my boyfriends brother so that is how I became involved in this proposal story. A few months before this trip to Disney World Evan showed me the ring. It was so pretty! Evan began sharing with me his plans to propose to McKenna while visiting Disney World on the family trip.
Before arriving to Disney World, Evan had decided to propose the first day while visiting Magic Kingdom. And he asked me to be in charge of holding the engagement ring while traveling to Florida and keeping it in my possession while inside Magic Kingdom.
The entire family was enjoying the day at Magic Kingdom riding rides, eating lunch at Liberty Tavern. While walking through the park I could see Evan looking around to find just the right spot for his proposal surprise to McKenna.
After lunch, Cameron, my boyfriend and his other two siblings, walked towards Cinderella’s Castle to look for the wishing well. This would be a perfect spot for Evan’s proposal. We found Evan and Cameron took the engagement ring from my bag to find Evan and tell him about the wishing well.
The entire family walked towards the castle as Cameron secretly gave Evan the ring and began walking McKenna towards the Wishing Well. I had my camera ready and mentioned to Evan and McKenna that I would like to take some family pictures in front of the castle before leaving the park.
After taking a few pictures in front of the well Evan moved McKenna towards the middle of the wishing well and they were looking over the edge as the rest of the family moved away to the other side. As McKenna was turning around, and to her surprise, Evan was already on one knee with the ring box in his hands. What a sweet moment for the two of them as Evan asked McKenna to marry him. She was so shocked and of course she said “yes.!”
